The all-walnut construction gives the S-35W its focused, woody character. However, compared to rosewood or mahogany, walnut offers remarkable note separation and a quick, articulate attack, making this guitar especially well-suited for fingerstyle, Celtic music, and dynamic, expressive playing. The sound is warm and jazzy, with excellent midrange presence and a surprisingly clear, singing top end.
