Designed to capture the sound, feel, and spirit of a true pre-war original, this guitar delivers an experience that is as close to owning a genuine 1937 D-28 as it gets.

This particular example is especially desirable, as it is one of the rare, discontinued Madagascar Rosewood models. Madagascar rosewood is widely regarded as being closer in tone and appearance to vintage Brazilian rosewood than the newer Guatemalan rosewood currently used by Martin, making these earlier builds significantly more sought after by collectors and professional players alike.

Built using Martin’s Authentic Series construction methods, this guitar features historically accurate bracing, hide-glue assembly, and period-correct dimensions throughout.
